Rogues RC

With the transition from one single entity of being a Rugby group to going into Clubs, the start of VBCC Stingers Rugby Club was formed. From 2012 to 2013 our group of players won the islands Tournaments as VBCC STINGERS both male and female then the following year we also won 1st place and our women won 2nd place. In 2016, we would move in another direction to form a newly branded Club Rogues Rugby Football Club. Earlier that year we would have won the first ever tournament in which was held in December National Day 7s as a newly formed club, then the Community 7s and Mike Mathurin Tournament the following year. As result of moving from Stingers before moving on to being Rogues Rugby Club formed by Jerry Charles, Ervin Moses, Elvin Moses, and an elected executive was put in place…Malan Pamphil President…Ervin Moses ..Vice President..Elvin Moses PRO Shamika Charles Secretary…Wendy Lewis Treasurer…Neighman Lascaris Treasurer ..Jerry Charles Coach and Founder of Club. To date, Rogues Rugby has dominated local Rugby and has toured annually to St.Vincent to participate in their Independence 7s Tournament and has also dominated.

During the year 2021, one of the most tragic moments occurred which impacted the membership in receiving news of one of our key players, an aspiring referee, a National player who passed away. Yohan Skii Henry who lost his life tragically left us all with heavy hearts. With his passing at a very young age, we have kept his memory alive by honoring his love for Rugby and Rogues Club by hosting a Memorial Rugby Cup annually in his memory alongside his Family. The Tournament is held every December a week before Christmas.

As part of our effort and contribution to the community during the Earth Day celebration in April 2023, Rogues Rugby Club had its first annual clean-up campaign for the community with members of other Union Club members.
